weakened gradually and, on October 2, 2020, at eight o’ clock in the morning he peacefully
returned to the Creator.
Fr. Piad served the Congregation and the Province well through his gifts of leadership and
wisdom. He was also known for his untiring dedication to the pastoral ministry and passion
for preaching. In his old age, he was always available for confession, spiritual direction and
teaching. His presence served as an inspiration to the younger generations of fidelity to the
priesthood and religious life.
