A Reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah

The spirit of the Lord God is upon me,
     because the Lord has anointed me;
He has sent me to bring good news to the afflicted,

To proclaim liberty to the captives,
     release to the prisoners,
To announce a year of favor from the Lord
     and a day of vindication by our God;

Jesus said: "I am the good shepherd.

Presider:
The omnipotence of God is manifested above all in is mercy and forgiveness. In faith, let us offer to him our needs, confiding in the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, of Saint Joseph, and of St. Joseph Marello, in every petition let us say:

Through the intercession of Saint Joseph Marello,
hear us O Lord.

For the Holy Church of God that she may always grow more in faith, hope and charity, and give generous testimony of that Christian spirit which Saint Joseph Marello assiduously inculcated with his preaching, in his writing and by his life, we pray.

Mga kapatid, nagagalak ako sa aking pagbabata ngayon alang-alang sa inyo sapagkat sa pamamagitan nito'y naipagpapatuloy ko ang paghihirap na kailangan pang gawin ni Kristo para sa simbahan na kanyang katawan. Ako'y naging lingkod nito nang hirangin ako ng Diyos upang ipahayag sa inyo ang kanyang salita. Hinirang niya ako upang lubusang ihayag sa inyo ang hiwaga na mahabang panahong nalihim sa maraming sali't saling lahi, ngunit ngayo'y inihayag sa kanyang mga anak. Inibig ng Diyos na ihayag sa lahat ng tao ang dakila at kamangha-manghang hiwagang ito. Ito ang hiwaga: sumainyo si Kristo at dahil dito'y nagkaroon kayo ng pag-asang makapiling ng Diyos doon sa kaluwalhatian. Iyan ang dahilan kung bakit namin ipinangangaral si Kristo. Pinaaalalahanan namin ang lahat, at buong linaw na tinuturuan ayon sa aming makakaya upang maiharap namin sa Diyos ang bawat isa, sakdal at walang kapintasan dahil sa pakikipag-isa kay Kristo. Dahil dito, ako'y nagpupunyagi sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihang kaloob sa akin ni Kristo.

Noong panahong iyon,

Ang upahan ay tumatakas, kapag nakikitang dumarating ang asong-gubat.
Iniiwan niya ang mga tupa,

Pari:
Ang kapangyarihan ng Diyos ay naipamamalas nang higit sa kanyang awa at pagpapatawad. Buong pananampalataya natin ngayong idulog ang ating mga pangangailangan na may pagtitiwala sa makapangyarihang pamimintuho ng Mahal na Birheng Maria, ni San Jose at ni San Jose Marello. Sa bawat kahilingan ang ating itutugon:

Panginoon, gawin mong banal ang iyong bayan.

Namumuno:
Para sa Banal na Simbahan ng Diyos upang ang kanyang sambayanan ay lumago sa pananampalataya, pag-asa at pag-ibig, at magbigay ng pagpapatotoo ng buhay Kristiyano na siyang pinagsumikapang ituro ni San Jose Marello sa kanyang pangangaral, mga isinulat at sa kanyang buhay. Manalangin tayo:

O San Jose Marello, katulad ng iyong pintakasi at huwarang si Poong San Jose, ikaw ang patunay na ang kabanalan ay hindi natatamo sa mga di-pangkaraniwang pamamaraan na siyang umaakit ng pansin ng mundo kundi sa pamamagitan ng araw-araw na pagsasabuhay ng mga katangian ng kapayakan, pagkakawanggawa at kapakumbabaan. Ng may buong pagtitiwala sa Dakilang Lumikha, itinatag mo ang Oblatos ni San Jose upang mapaglingkuran ang mga kapakanan ni Hesus sa pagtulad sa Kanyang Tagapangalaga at Patnubay. Ama ng mga kabataan, tagapagsanggalang ng mga dukha at mga matatanda, mahinahong pastol ng iyong kawan, huwaran ng pagkakawanggawa, pinagsanib mo ang lakas at kabutihan, ang panalangin at paggawa, ang katapatan sa Simbahan at masigasig na pagkilala sa mga palatandaan ng mga panahon. Nawa ay magbigay inspirasyon ang iyong buhay na banal sa mga kabataan na tanggapin ang Mabuting Balita bilang kanilang tiyak na gabay, ang mga Oblato bilang mga kubli at tapat na kasangkapan ng mga gawain ng Diyos, ang mga pari at mga Obispo bilang mga matatapat at mapagmahal na mga pastol. Samahan mo kaming manalanging mabuhay kaming lahat ng may kapayapaan sa aming puso't isipan na nagmumula lamang sa isang mapagtiwalang pagsuko sa kalooban ng Diyos. Amen.
