Let us console ourselves in not being able to pay the
many debts contracted with Jesus, because this thought
will help to keep us humble and make us feel ever more
grateful to our heavenly Creditor. (Writings 235)

the other hand, let us rejoice in the goodness and mercy
of Jesus in pardoning us. Let us be glad because of the
