Formation

For the Oblates of St. Joseph, Christian formation is identified with the ideal of the
Founder: to follow the divine master and to dedicate oneself to the interests of Jesus
in imitation of St. Joseph. This involves faithful and obedient abandonment to Divine
Providence, the practice of the virtues of humility and simplicity, and the appreciation
of a hidden life of work, all in a genuine family spirit.
