6th Pastoral Letter of the Bishop of Acqui

flock, the higher your hopes for the future, the more lively and
unparalleled must be your present efforts.
May it please the Lord that, by joining to you in the same
work the zeal of parents, of teachers and of pious souls, the
growing generation may be educated in the school of the
Catechism for the future good of families and society.
To these wishes for the triumph of Catholic Doctrine we
add, Venerable Brothers and Beloved children, our prayers for
the One who is the supreme and infallible teacher, for the
Sovereign Pontiff Leo XIII. We pray that the Lord, after having
granted our Common Father the grace of celebrating his
Episcopal Jubilee amid the rejoicing of the whole world, may
keep him in good health for many more years, and give him the
grace and consolation of reaping ever increasing fruits in his
apostolic ministry.
Let us pray also for our August Sovereign, for the Royal
Family and for the Authorities of the State. Let us pray also for
one another so that God may shed upon us all an abundance of
his heavenly favors.

Gratia Domini Nostri Jesu Christi cum spiritu vestro. Amen
