OSJCS priests launch "SALITANGLAW"

Through a noble initiative of the OSJ priests assigned at the OSJ College Seminary, "SALITANGLAW" was launched to serve as a tool of evangelization through the social website "Facebook".

Since its maiden episode on September 23, with Rev. Fr. Eduardo Carandang, OSJ, OSJCS Rector, reflecting on 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time, the page has received various positive feedbacks even from those who are living outside the country.

OSJS Religious and Lay Admins
attend CEAP Convention 2016

Religious and lay administrators of OSJ Schools attended this year's CEAP Convention held at Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City from September 28 to 30.

The OSJS delegation were spearheaded by its President, Rev. Fr. Allen Vic B. Cartagena, OSJ.

Fr. Vince & Fr. Dolf go Down Under

Rev. Fr. Vincent Comple, OSJ and Rev. Fr. Nino Randolf Subiaco, OSJ have been assigned as missionaries to the Australian Rectory. They received their missionary crosses on September 26, 2016 during a simple sending-off rite presided by the Provincial Superior, Rev. Fr. Jayson Endaya, OSJ.

They will be joining Rev. Fr. Concord Bagaoisan, OSJ, Rev. Fr. Domingo Manalo, OSJ and Rev. Fr. Christian Saminal, OSJ.

At present, these OSJ priests are serving four parishes in the Diocese of Bunbury, West Australia.

OSJMS: Sangkan 10 Over-all Champs

The Grade 10 formandi of the OSJ Minor Seminary bagged the over-all championship of the recently concluded Sangkan 10, held at St. Francis de Sales Minor Seminary, Lipa City.

They placed first in Basketball and Dama; and second place in table tennis and Games of the Generals. They garnered a total point of 116 pointsfrom all the games. Mother of Good Counsel from Sariaya, Quezon followed as First Runner-Ups with 92 points while Holy Rosary Minor Seminar finished as Second Runner-ups with 83 points.

SANGKAN (Isang Angkan kay Kristo) is an annual sports competition among the different minor seminaries in the country.
